Finish button in Change Request creation wizard does not appear
Need help here.
We are currently using Windchill PDMLink v10.2 M030-CPS21 and have encountered an issue that appears to be happening more and more often.
During creation of a Change Request and performing Steps 1-3 in the Creation wizard, the Finish button does not activate. The only recourse by the user is to Cancel the CR wizard and start over. This happens about 20% of the time, but seems to be coming more prevalent. Has anyone else seen this phenomenon?
We are currently running Java 8 update 45

We are a bit late to answer the original question but we succeeded rehosting a Windchill 11 instance by using PTC Rehosting Utility 3.0 M010. We used the tool to change the full URL, including also the web app name. So, where is our lobster dinner? ;-P

They're still unable to browse to it, but that's OK.

Creo View does not work in Chrome browser. Chrome has disabled all plug-ins for the browser due to security purposes. This is why PTC is going to WebGL for the visual instead of needing a plugin.
We have to use IE 11 to use Creo View.
Also for your shrinkwraps, you probably can't see them because they are not a solid. In Creo View it only views solids with the default settings. If you want to see the surfaces you must enable the option:

Still fooling with using Winline to create HPGL PLT files with inconsistent results.
I can manually print from Solidworks to the Winline printer with perfect results. The PLT file looks exactly like PDF output from Solidworks. Amazing!
However, whenever I publish using the Worker process on the same computer using the same files, the pen line widths settings in Winline are ignored. I suspect it could be that System Account that runs the GS Worker Demon is not able to use the printer settings the way a regular account can. Anyone with thoughts on this?

Access to Workspace from a different user
Hallo zusammen,
folgende Fragestellung an das Forum. Vorab, wir arbeiten mit Creo Direct Modeling und dem Windchill Workgroupmanager 10.2 M030-CPS18 auf dem Client und serverseitig mit CPS22.
Ist es in PTC Windchill 10.2 als Admin möglich irgendwie an die Daten eines Users in seinem persönlichen Workspace zu kommen um diese Einzuchecken?
Kurze Beschreibung des Falles:
Ein User ist erkrankt und hat neu angelegte Daten in seinem persönlichen Workspace, diese sind zwar in den Commonspace hochgeladen und für mich als Admin ersichtlich, aber nicht eingecheckt. Nun sollte ich die Daten irgendwie "frei" bekommen, dass ein anderer User diese weiterbearbeiten kann. Neuanlage geht nicht, der Artikel ist bereits im System vorhanden und beim Einchecken bemerkt das System, dass im Commonspace eines Users Modell und Zeichnung bereits vorhanden sind, und bringt eine Fehlermeldung. Des weiteren möchten wir den aktuellen Stand nicht einfach nochmals erarbeiten.
Lösungen unter Übernahme des Useraccounts mittels Adminrechten / Zurücksetzen seines Passwortes sind aus datenschutzrechtlichen Gründen nicht erwünscht.
Vielleicht gibt es ja Windchill-Erfahrene die eine Idee hätten? Ansonsten sehe ich das als eklatanten Mangel des Systems an?

WTDocument checkout / in is fundamentally different from CAD Document checkout / in.
CAD creates relationships between files (e.g.assy <> component and drawing <> component or assy). For this reason, filenames need to be constant.
For WTDocuments (non-CAD), think of the "document" as a container for a file (actually one or more files if attachments are used). The contents of the container are replaced with each checkin. You can in fact create a WTDocument with a Word file, then on check out, replace it with an Excel file.

They should create their own assembly file in a manufacturing folder and use that for all NC programming tasks.

Should have these tools for a specific promotion request (shown as admin below) - I'll have to check if Modify for the Team object is enough.
note: After the workflow has "delivered" a task to any user, one cannot add another person - have to re-assign.

Windchill Rehost Utility 3
Could someone please either upload or give a link to their Windchill Rehost Utility 3 or whichever is the current release?
Trying to rehost from one machine to another.
We have PDM Essentials and the documentation calls out to go login and go to the downloads page but it doesn't exist there. Even had a help ticket open for 2 weeks but they were never able to help.
